The museum is located close to the Lighthouse. It has all sorts of exhibits that give the history of the area, the lighthouse, bird life, etc. The admission is free. A very good stop for school...

We love walking around the gardens surrounding the museum. There are so many volunteers and people that help out weeding and cleaning up these gardens. Wonderfully friendly people. We've made this part of our morning walking routine. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful piece of history. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the lighthouse, museum (formerly a schoolhouse) and the overall area. The garden is lovely and well maintained. I enjoyed the little video about the coast guard dog Sinbad. That is definitely great for kids to check out. This museum is small, but it is really worth checking out if you are going to the lighthouse.
