Estate Winery & Tasting Room
Baroda, Michigan
Our story began thousands of years ago – when glaciers deposited their cargo of stones, rocks, minerals, clay, sand and gravel which created a hilly moraine in Baroda, Michigan. In 2009, we began our portion of the story when we purchased 44 acres of land. Our location is atop one of the highest points in Baroda, and just 6 miles from the moderating influence of Lake Michigan.
We began our vineyard with 4 acres of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2009 and have continued planting new vines each year. In 2014, our planting was completed on our Shawnee Road location, providing 28 acres of estate-grown grapes. In 2011, we acquired an additional 13 acres, our Singer Lake Vineyard, and began planting there in 2015. We started with 3.5 acres of Carmenere & Pinot Gris vines, and will continue planting each year. With the addition of 10 acres in 2016, our estate is now 67 acres total, and dedicated to growing Michigan grapes to make Michigan wine.
Our varietals include Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Carmenere, Malbec, Tannat, Pinot Gris and Petit Verdot.
Believing that exceptional wine comes from exceptional grapes and their unique terroir, our grapes are hand-nurtured from the time they are planted, until the grapes are harvested. Our people are committed to creating quality products. Our wines are produced in our hillside facility and stored in an underground cellar.
To accommodate our growing needs, an expansion of our operation in 2014 included constructing a new 4,000 square foot production facility and 2,250 square foot tasting room. With increased production space, we will have the ability to produce 7,500 – 10,000 cases of wine annually. The tasting room opened in May 2015, adding a new destination for those visiting Baroda – The Heart of Wine Country, and providing spectacular views over the hilly vineyards.

Gorgeous setting with natural sounds and not very crowded. Highly recommended. Not very Limousine friendly as you drive in you see many signs. Sorta distracts what otherwise is an amazing setting.
