Hope Cemetery is a rural cemetery in Barre, Vermont. The city calls itself the "Granite Capital of the World", and the cemetery is known for the superb granite craftsmanship on its memorials and tombstones.   • It is well worth at least a drive through, if not a good wander around, this cemetery. The granite monuments are works of art, and so unusual for cemetery monuments. It is fun to think about why...  more »
  • Stpped here on recommendation. Was amazing to wwalk and ride thru so many beautiful headstone and some outlandish a must eben if not in visitng cemeteries  more »

  • Wonderful experience! Beautiful gravestones with astonishing details. Also several beautiful epitaphs and tributes. Definitely worth spending the afternoon, or even just driving through for a quick look. Highly recommend it!
