This is a restored old State capitol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is beautiful inside and out. The ceiling, staircase and info inside were well worth our time.

Absolutely gorgeous! Stunning architecture and stained glass. Wonderfully pleasant employees. Cute gift shop with great Louisiana gifts. I didn't have time to look at the museum much but it looked very well laid out and informative.

This was my first time to visit & I am a Louisiana native. Now that I've taught our state history twice - I appreciate this amazing place a lot more. Unique architecture+ a unique background make for an interesting visit. I had a feeling it would be enjoyable & it exceeded my expectations!
