  • We were in the baton rouge area so decided to pop in to see Mike. It was abit challenging to find the enclosure as it's on the middle of the campus, but we got there. Mike was lying in the shade...

  • Really awesome and the history is fantastic, well done LSU! It is a come and go view able open sanctuary that. An be seen from multiple vantage points. Mike the tiger seems to love attention and patrols regularly and usually towards people. He poses and moves like a kitty rubbing up against the fence and trees, very play full versus other tigers I have observed at zoos and such. He must be really loved by the care takers. We came on New Years day. I thought we would have the place to ourselves, but there were many families there to see Mike also, and it was great! The sanctuary was clean and well maintained, he seemed happy.
  • His habitat is very spacious and clean with plenty of space for him to secluded himself should be choose to. It also allows visitors plenty of space for viewing and getting some good pictures of our beloved LSU Tiger. Geaux Tigers!!
