Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum, Battle Ground

A perfectly preserved piece of Indiana history. Bring your family and tour the sacred grounds remembering the Native Americans and Frontier Soldiers who fought here. There are smaller grave markers surrounding the incredible battlefield monument where the combatants fell. The museum is on the battlefield monument grounds and a tour can be completed in about an hour. The gift shop has many nice gifts that we purchased at very reasonable prices.

This was a very beautiful place. There are ample picnic tables to sit and eat at. There is even a grill. There is a water also available. Restrooms are located on the outside of building. We didn't do the museum, that costs $7 each. We drove down to the other site, Prophetstown, but that is located inside a state park which requires $8 per vehicle entry so we didn't go in. A nice place to stop and take a break if you are driving along the interstate.
