Battle Ground Lake State Park is a 275-acre (111 ha) public recreation area located three miles (4.8 km) northeast of the city of Battle Ground, Washington. The state park is covered by an evergreen forest centered around a crater lake of volcanic origin. The park is managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.

    Great place to hang out in the small lake, kayak, fish, or swim. Lots of trees around for shade and trails to walk on.  more »

    Battle ground Lake is a very peaceful place for a quiet walk in the fall or early spring. It tends to get a bit to busy and noisy for me in the summer when lots of kids are swimming and hanging out...  more »

    Great place depending on who else is staying there. 35 Drive up and rv campsites including 3 cabins with showers. The upper and lower trails looping around the lake are a great hike and there are several undercover areas to rent for the weekend. Pack lightly I you choose to stay at the 12$ hike in sites.

    Beautiful place to visit or camp. The lake is in the opening of an old volcano and circular in shape. It’s surrounded with trees from all sides and there are walking trails around the lake that stretch from half a mile to more than 2 miles. There are horse trails and swimming areas too. The parking lot to the park is a little small, so come early.
