  • What a hidden gem! We only had an hour to spend & left wanting more. The displays telling the story of mining in the area gave me new information. The 2 boardwalks (1870 and 1930) were such a great choice for displaying various items from times gone by. We’ll be back.
  • First it is free, you can leave donation. 2 floors of exhibits very nicely displayed by subject area. Lots in information about the ore mines in surrounding towns including Picher. Grab a map for the driving tour of civil war battle here. Museum sits adjacent to old civil war post site. Allow at least 1 to 2 hours.
