  • So we stumbled upon this by accident and are glad we did. My nephew and his then fiance (who I might add was 9 months pregnant and due any day) were supposed to get married on the beach, but it was way too cold out so they asked if it was okay to do it here. Glad it worked out like that cause this place is amazing. So many local and non local artifacts and there is no way you see it all in one visit. Each time I promise you will find something you didn't see on the last visit. The time, dedication, knowledge, and passion of these people that give the tours are unbelievable. You can tell they do this for the love and the history of it, and to keep the stories and the past from not fading away is truly amazing. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS AND MAKE IT A STOP PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Sorry no other pictures of the museum only a video of the ceremony but do not want to post that. I'll try to add some soon.
  • By far the best museum in the area. Free admission (they ask for donations at the door with a tip jar), and they even offer copies of the informative DVDs they play around the museum for free. Great place to bring kids, 2 stories of exhibits and plenty of things to see and read. The caretakers are also very nice and encourage guests to check things out.
