The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is a private non-profit museum in the Cleveland suburb of Beachwood that celebrates the history of the Jewish community of Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio, as well as the diversity of the human experience. Opened on October 11, 2005, the Maltz Museum features two permanent collections, An American Story and The Temple - Tifereth Israel Gallery, in which personal stories are brought to life through film, computer interactives, special effects and exhibitions that feature artefacts, art, documents and images. The Museum also hosts rotating exhibitions (traveling and original), as well as weekly public programs.

  • What an incredible museum. Yes, it's filled with Jewish heritage, but the museum is SO much more! It's a really interesting history museum in its own right, and there is literally a little something.....  more

  • Great educational experience. I enjoyed the interactive experience with Dr. Rev. Moss Jr. The questions were simple life story no one asked about his experience during the Civil Rights events he participated in. Overall very informative. The display hall gave you the ability to hear experiences from the pictures after scanning the qr code. They were numbered and differentiated listened for kids. The kids had small activities at tables to tell what they stand for. Very Good experience. I would recommend. Didn't get to hear keynote speaker Rev. Moss III.
  • Museum dedicated for Jewish people from Cleveland Ohio. Lots of historical items to see and learn about. Parking is free. Museum is the building closest to road.
