Nice little site with some information about the reconstruction period. They lack hands on education for the kiddos and it's mostly just panels to read. It would also be great if they had info on the Jim Crow laws and it's effects on reconstruction. It's a new site though and I am sure they will continue to add to it. The volunteer and the ranger were both friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are amazing and you should go to learn from them. Since the site is free, please buy a souvenir to help them build up the place!
