I had a chance to visit the McFaddin-Ward House Museum and I loved the experience. Admission to this museum is FREE. The attendants at the museum were very knowledgeable and helpful. The security guard at the house was a wealth of information and was very thorough in his explanations of the property. This museum tells the history of the McFaddins who made their name in Beaumont. This museum is also not for children under 8, as there are many original pieces in the property.

What a beautiful home! And even the self guided tour which only gets you the 1st floor and the carriage house, was an amazing thing to see and free! I will be back for the docent tour which will get you all 3 floors and the carriage house, free as well. Merry Christmas!
