  Great place to see both local rocks and gems as well as others from all over the world. They also have the largest collection of Thomsonite which is only found on the shores of Lake Superior. Family.....  more »

  I LOVE this place! It’s one place we always need to stop when we come up north! The selection for purchase is gorgeous and varied, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and generally delightful! Everything for sale is priced fairly and the museum pieces are marvelous to look at! I hope this place stays open forever! ❤️❤️❤️

  I can’t say enough great things about Beaver Bay Agate Shop, my fiancé and I went there looking for a wedding ring for her because this is our favorite stop when going up the north shore and she is a huge agate collector and fan. Keith helped us look and let us know if we wanted he could custom make us one out of our own agate!!!!! He went over everything with us and helped us through the whole process and it turned out AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for making her ring so special you guys ROCK
