  • What a beautiful hike! Its a short walk to the falls and there are a few signs along the way with information on the park and structures. The falls are amazing and you can get pretty close if you climb over the rocks. We took our dogs and they also loved it. The park is very dog friendly. There is even a stocked waste bag station so you can clean up after your pup. No swimming though, since the current is strong and the rocks can be dangerous. 10/10 I recommend checking this out!
  • October 2022: One of the first times for my blended family hanging out was at Viaduct Park. Our goal was to see the waterfall and to hike while viewing the beautiful colors of the fall foliage. Pros: * Beautiful park that offers scalable hiking. More specifically, the terrain is not flat and offers a winding descent down a hillside from the parking lot to the majestic waterfall. * There are tons of photogenic scenery along the paved path and many viewpoints with built up staircases and platforms. * Well maintained park. I assume that the combined efforts of the park maintenance team and the public keep the park clean of trash and debris. I did not see one piece of trash around on the ground. I did not see any beer bottles or remnants of alcohol consumption here neither. Good job! I hope that things stay that way. * There was a porta-john (or portable bathroom) in the corner of the parking lot. If someone need to use the restroom, then the best time to do so would be prior to the hike or descent. Cons: * The gate down at the falls needs to be painted again. The environment is harsh down there being very damp and misty so I understand the challenge in keeping it pristine. Conclusion: This is a beautiful park. I only viewed the falls, but will return to explore it in its entirety. I strongly recommend that everyone give this park a try.
