We stayed at the campground during the week. The campsites are very private. You don't really know that you have neighbors. The main restroom was clean. Most of the campsites have a nearby pit toilet. Those were clean as well. The hiking and biking trails were easy. The beaches on lake Michigan were fun to walk.

It was pretty good. I went there to grill by lake Michigan. Parking is about a 10 minute walk from grills with a view. The North beach had 2 charcoal grills, 1 fire ring grill grate, and a firepit. It was elevated with a view of the lake. South beach was more of a dog area but also had 1 charcoal grill. Random grills placed nearby. Quarry Lake was really nice. The only downside was that the beach area had a lot of dead fish that washed up in some areas, but overall it was a worth while experience.
