Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel is a chapel located along Lake Norwood in Bella Vista, Arkansas, designed by E. Fay Jones and Maurice Jennings and constructed in 1988. The chapel was commissioned by John A. Cooper, Sr. to honor Mildred Borum Cooper, his late wife. The chapel was designed with a mind toward celebrating both God and his creations.
The chapel is a popular tourist destination in Northwest Arkansas, as well as a widely used wedding ceremony location.

  • You don't see the chapel until you are almost to the front door but this is a beautiful chapel with trees all around. You will be amazed by the architecture. We had a little bit of trouble finding...  more »

  • Gorgeous chapel perfect for any wedding. My coworker held her ceremony here and it was beautiful. LGBT friendly as well. Only down side is you cant throw things of any type (bird seed, rice) or blow bubbles for the new couple.
  • I loved this location. It was a bit hot outside but it was a short walk to get to the beautiful chapel. There are also nice walking paths the curve down the side of the hill be the water which was great scenery. The chapel was astounding and the scenery was very lovely.
