Located 6 miles east of Bellingham, in the heart of an evergreen forest, is the Glen Echo Garden. Open daily to the public, it offers 7 acres of multi-themed gardens including a Blue Garden, Gigantic Stump Garden, Rose Garden, English Garden, and Begonia & Fuchsia Garden. Recently added is the Natural Forest Garden, Mossy Garden and a Japanese Garden.
Our Garden is open for public viewing, but also available for weddings, concerts, reunions and other gatherings. The walkways are level and made of well-groomed crushed gravel. A kitchen and restrooms are centrally located and easy to access.
Glen Echo Garden offers a magical, romantic atmosphere, surrounded by a natural wooded setting. Fountains, arches and pathways add charm to the themed gardens that are bursting with color. Open lawns provide spaces for ceremonies and receptions. This is a wonderful garden hidden away in a tight little valley close to Bellingham. Take a lunch and coax the owner into playing the pan flute. more »
Lovely little gem of a place in Bellingham! We were there on a drizzly day and it was so just peaceful and beautiful. Will go back again. Owner was so nice and told us history of the place. So interesting and worth the visit. Ask him about the history of the place and the huge trunks that are part of the wonder of the place. Great place to take locals and out of town visitors.
Stunning!!! Family friendly and so worth going! So much detail and thought went into the gardens and the Dick, the owner is just wonderful! The smell is so fresh and I find it so relaxing!!
