  • There is a very nice little park with picnic tables. Very pretty! We found 2 hikes to do and did them both in a little over 4 hours. Watch for rattlesnakes! Beautiful place!  more »

  • Nice park. Access to the water for kiyaks or tubes. Cover pavilions with grills. Nice fishing access, but no luck so I think the area is heavily used. All facilities are dry sump, no running water. Be sure to come prepared. Daily access fee required for the area.
  • Very pretty setting just a short drive from Fort Collins. Very nice park, facilities, natural setting. Ideal when "off peak" times to avoid weekenders and big buses of rafting companies. Winter and early / late hours are wonderful if you like Solitude, hiking or Fly Fishing the ice shelf. Great year round trout fishing on North Fork below Seaman's Reservoir and up / down the Poudre from Gateway. River can get a lot of pressure in the area, given quick access from town and high season. For more solitude and less people, keep climbing up the canyon (west) and Highway 14. There are plenty of places to go off the grid with short hike in access to some fantastic fly fishing.... camping, hiking, etc.
