  • A MUST do if you are visiting the Bend area. Educational, entertaining, and clean — the whole family will enjoy this experience. And the Otters are not to be missed — absolutely adorable!

  • A good spot for families and for a quick animal fix. I do wish there were more live animals, this place definitely has more of an art gallery kind of vibe with all the history on the walls. Beautiful outdoor scenery. Didn't get anything from the cafe but it looks decent plus there was beer and wine with a modern patio setup outdoors in the sun.
  • Fun regional museum highlighting the natural history of the area and the experiences of the settlers. Plenty of interesting dioramas and small animals to see for the kids and enough placards with information for the grownups. Been there a bunch and the visits are usually around 2 hours. If you are lucky during peak season there will be volunteers dressed up in era correct clothing and one time they had the lumber mill up and running.
