Broadslab Distillery, Benson

Caught a tour of this distillery on Saturday afternoon. Well worth the $12 charge. Tour was conducted by the actual owner. The operation is on a farm that has been in the family, and is actively farmed to provide some of the ingredients. It is a modern operation. I won’t give away the entire story, but this was a great way to spend a little over an hour on a weekend afternoon. We look forward to sharing this experience with family and friends, and am looking forward to when they are ready to tap a barrel of their bourbon!

We went here on a whim after driving to the area for a restaurant,and will be back very soon! The most friendliest greeting I have ever had from any distillery, bar, hangout ever. The wonderful lady behind the bar was so knowledgeable about all the products and her excitement about her job and the pride she put into explaining all the different things they do and have available there was so appreciated. We went on Thursday so the tour wasn't available,but we will be back soon. I can't wait to go back, and will definitely tell everyone I know about it.
