my first recommendation is to give them a call, to make sure they're going to be open whenever it is you plan to be going there. It's two owners, and the wife is currently running it because her husband's in and nursing home. This means it's pretty much my appointment only. This location is a little bit away from everything else, but I suppose that's a good thing. Every building here was built from scratch by the owner and his wife. That's something to really be respected. They've got quite a number of buildings here, and they lease the place out by the day or even by the month. They have a good size parking lot. It gives you some Fair idea of how life was way back then in the late 1800s. The furniture for the most part is very authentic. Very neat to see a telegraph office, an old time bank, an old time laundromat, blacksmith, etc the small Church / schoolhouse at the end is a nice touch as well. They even made a small mine area up the hill and a little bit behind the camp. All in all, it's slightly modest but in its own way fairly impressive considering it was all hand built. I appreciate their effort and liked the time my wife and I spent there. Will give it a good thumbs up.
