  • The RV campground is clean and is a great place to camp, for a weekend or for a week. There are plenty of trails to hike and in the warmer months you can float down the river. The scenery is great and the park sits right at one of the 180 degree bends of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. We have been here twice in our RV and we have enjoyed being here both times. As of 2019, staying in the RV campground either costs $35 or $38 depending on whether you want a non-specific site reservation ($35) or a specific site reservation ($38). There is a yurt and several small cabins in the RV campground, but they cost more. All sites can be reserved through the Reserve America website or app. All RV sites have water and electric (50 amp, 30 amp, and 20 amp connections). There is no sewer connection at the campsites but there is a dump station at the entrance to the campground. The bathhouse is clean and the showers are hot.
  • Parks are always great, but Andy Guest is very nice. I mainly go there to mountain bike, as they have plenty of miles of trails. Nothing technical, but a lot of elevation difference, so you can get a great workout. Lots of other stuff to do, too. Camping, tubing, zip line, etc. Check it out!
