I really enjoyed this. It was very well organized and nice to see how this store came from such humble beginnings and had a goal to help lower income people. It’s free to go through and they have a nice ice-cream shop at the end with extremely reasonable prices.
With what seems like a Walmart on every corner, it's easy to overlook that this retail mega-monster started from humble beginnings and the vision of a single man. Seeing first hand the details behind that amazing story is a unique opportunity. As you travel to the museum one also can't help but notice the effect Sam Walton and Walmart have had on Bentonville and the country as a whole.
