  • Best beach in the Keys in our opinion. Calusa beach was sandy enough for the kids to play with shovels and buckets. Good sport for shore snorkeling to the right of the beach near the rocks - saw...

  • Our favorite beach to visit when in the Keys. Always beautiful views. Excellent place to drop your kayaks in. Snorkeling can be done on either side. Concessions is wonderful and they offer good food and snorkeling tours. The beaches are amazing. Nice and shallow for a long time. Camping here looks incredible! Great staff, beautiful grounds. So much fun to explore!
  • We came when the state park opened. You pay to get in here but it's well worth it. We were charged $9. We went to the other end where it was more secluded and not a lot of people on that side of the beach. Ended up going to the resort side and it was beautiful You can camp here and they have a swimming part of the beach where it was netted off and activities there like a treasure hunt, explore the old railroad and fishing and diving. Also, you can launch your boat. Beautiful place
