Captain Hook's Big Pine Key, Big Pine Key

Went to Captain Hook's to purchase a snorkel mask, and ended up scheduling for a snorkel tour with them as well. Short version, no regrets at all! The store has knowledgeable staff and a good variety of gear so shopping is a breeze. The snorkel tour was expertly done. After loading the boat and getting our party aboard, the Captain (Captain Will) ran us through a hilarious safety rundown. With that, we took off and had several hours of incredible swimming. The waves were low, the ocean was so clear that you could see the bottom with ease, and the wildlife was abundant. They provided two locations, and each was incredible! The First Mate Val helped with all of the gear, and shared some tips on fish to look for. Overall, I couldn't have enjoyed myself more. Would totally recommend! Thanks Captain Will & Val!!!

Excellent experience on the snorkeling trip! Each of the 4 crew members made us feel so welcome and safe, and it was clear they love the reefs and want to share the beauty with others. Safety was a top priority on board. The boat ride was about 25 mins out to the reef site, then you spend a total of 2 hours snorkeling at 2 different areas of the reef. Absolutely beautiful! We saw so many fish and corals. Waters were crystal clear. The best snorkeling we did during our week vacation! Will definitely join this crew again on a future trip to the keys!
