Lake Elmo State Park is a Montana state park located in Billings, Montana. Lake Elmo is Montana's most popular state park, drawing 153,000 visitors from May through August 2012. The park occupies 123acre and is at an elevation of 3199ft. Non-motorized boating is allowed on the lake. The park has three beach-front areas, a fishing pier, grassed multi-use areas, two group-use shelters for social events and a playground. Another feature of Lake Elmo is its Dog Park. Beautiful park with lots of walking trails, boat and float access, dog park, playground and decent parking.

One of my favorite spots to walk in the morning. .75 mile path around it, perfect for walking and running the dog. Plus in the summer, it's a great spot to paddleboard and stay cool. Kids and I swam it's length a number of times this past summer.
