  • We love to swim and play in the sand here. I would recommend a water shoe as you can't see rocks or glass.  more »

  • I've been fishing here quite a few times. Usually catch a lot of small perch and rainbow trout using worms as bait. One time in early summer I was there I caught 2-4 pound bass every time I cast out using a spinner. There is a nice walking trail around the lake and a pretty good playground for children. Fish and Wildlife has their county headquarters here as well so you can get a fishing license if you need one or just go look at the exhibits they have inside. Overall, it's a good place to go with your family or go by yourself for a walk or run. There is no alcohol allowed in the park so don't bring any beer fishing haha
  • A summer must. I was really impressed with how well maintained the park was, its changed so much, and for the better. If you haven't been in some time be sure to give this place a chance. Even I took a swim and I used to be terribly afraid of the water there
