McWane Science Center offers four floors of interactive exhibits, dinosaur models, and a five-story IMAX theater. Learn about science through the wide collection of hands-on exhibits, see the towering dinosaur bones, and view more than 50 species of aquatic life in the world of water exhibit. Educators give science demonstrations throughout the day, and the IMAX screen presents movies on a grander scale. There are also a wide variety of fossils, Native American artifacts, and other exhibits to choose from and a playground to entertain children. This place is fantastic for the kids. You will need an entire day to explore and observe the center. It has some things to do, the kids wont get bored. It is divided in three sections. First floor is science and very hands- on. The second they have dinosour exhibit. They have a dedicated area for kids 6 years old under, and it is very pretty. It is worth your time and money. I had been different kids museum but this one has everything in one.

Fun for the whole family! Lots of ways to learn. While we were there my daughter was able to hold a sea anemone, pet a sea star, learn about various topics from the staff doing demonstrations, and use all of the wonderful interactive exhibits. There's a sting ray and shark petting tank which is a great experience as well! Added bonus with the IMAX in the building! Definitely get yourself a ticket. We highly enjoyed the Safari movie in the IMAX dome and felt like we were there with the animals! I cannot wait to go back again. Would even make for a fun date night!
