  • This is a noteworthy and novel experience. We did the 6pm pizza dinner tour. The river scenery was enjoyable. They opened the gate at 5:55 p.m. and departed at 6:05 p.m. Was a 90 min. ride. Boat staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza was lukewarm and neither hot nor fresh. The price was a little high. Couldn't hear the tour info on the speakers. The sound was far too faint.
  • This riverboat cruise was not what I imagined. I was expecting a paddle boat and more history of the area. I did not research enough. However, my party had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The boat is simply a tour boat that cruises up and down the river with views mostly of backyards of homes and under a few bridges. There is a short historical recording that is played at the beginning (30 minutes?) that I did not understand, so no opinion on the historical background provided. With that said, we were looking for a relaxing time after a long day of sight seeing and this fit the bill. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. We were able to relax together and casually talk. There is a bar below deck with interior seating. Upper deck was comfortable with a gentle river breeze (mid June). Chairs were metal outdoor furniture that were comfortable and easy to move, but no padding if that matters to you. The office is now in the Huckleberry Restaurant that recently opened. We were not able to eat at the restaurant due to a busy weekend and closed for private parties. Boarding is just below the restaurant.
