  • We drove up from Pocatello (25 minutes) and it was well worth it! There is a nice gift shop on one end and a cafe on the other end. The Large Potato out front is a great place for a family photo...  more »
  • It is a 30 minutes stop to learn about potatoes, Peru, McDonalds French fries, JR Simplot, and Idaho. While in Idaho gotta visit the potato museum.  more »
  • Helpful and friendly gift shop staff. Interesting displays. Unfortunately, it seemed that they could not decide.between serious and kitsch at times. The cafe features potato goodies but was out of about half of the items listed on the menu when we were there. The french fries were good though, hot and tasty.
  • It's a fun little museum. It is very little (really only two rooms a gift shop and an ice cream shop). But it is fun to learn about the history of the potato, see different tools used in the planting and harvesting, see potato collectibles, and taste ice cream made with potatoes (no it doesn't taste like potatoes)
