  • This was our first camping trip and we chose Barnwell because of its proximity to home. We were very pleased with the facilities. We were on campsite 8 which was spacious and close to the bathhouse. There were very few people camping in the park so it was very quiet while we were there. The camp hosts we helpful and kind. Plenty of fishing and swimming opportunities and the rangers we friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
  • The park is located in a quiet area which was wonderful. Although, the roads are in desperate need of repair or new paving. The water went out one day and the rangers were working on it ASAP. They got it working that day! The park is clean. I would recommend the park to anyone who likes the country and peace and quiet.
