Buggy Barn Museum is located in the beautiful Hill Country in Blanco, TX. We are a family owned and operated museum that is also a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our museum offers a range of buggies and wagons dating back from the 1860's. Several of our buggies and wagons have been used in major motion pictures such as the re-make of "True Grit" and "There Will Be Blood". We have all kinds to look at from a stagecoach, to doctor's buggies, Studebakers, and a hearse. Of course, this is only a sample of all the ones on display. Our museum also has many gifts for sale, such as coffee cups to coloring books for the children. We are also owners of K and D Carriages, in which we provide carriage rides for weddings, parties, or any event you would like to have a horse and buggy.Arrange your visit to Buggy Barn Museum Complex and discover more family-friendly attractions in Blanco using our Blanco trip planner.

Warm reception from the knowledgeable staff! The cat, the baby bison, the dog, all gave it a homey charm full of movie memorabilia and so many buggies! I learned a great deal about cars as well! A working blacksmith and a full old west street, it was so very interesting. It was hot, but about a half of it was inside and climate controlled. Worth the heat by a long shot. Go and learn something new and exciting!

Loved this place. The buggies are awesome. Lots of good history and was impressed with how the owner has been a partner with many western movies and loaning his buggies for props. Make sure you look for those.
