  • Brought my friend from out of town here for a different experience in Bloomington. The monastery is beautiful and peaceful. The employees/workers are very friendly in the gift shop. The grounds are beautiful to walk around on a summer day. A lovely and peaceful get-away from the town. There are several beautiful pieces to check out and offer opportunities to learn about Tibetan culture.
  • Such a peaceful and tranquil place that's a great center for learning. Took a day trip here as a small getaway and I was not disappointed, the monks are super nice as well when we thought we were intruding on something they were doing, they encouraged us to sit with them and we were given a small talk on the history of the Temple and the ideology of Buddhism itself. Really cool place to go and see if you're stuck in Indiana and want to go somewhere that's different.
