Mall of America attracts over 40 million shoppers each year, the most of any mall in the world. The largest indoor shopping complex in the country, the mall houses an indoor theme park, aquarium, wedding chapel, and a miniature golf course in addition to the usual stores, movie theaters, and restaurants. Many visitors follow the shopping experience with a ride on one of the mall's 24 roller coasters, but you can also explore the aquarium's family-friendly exhibits. The mall is a ten-minute car ride from the airport, though you can easily reach it by the light rail network from almost anywhere else in the greater Minneapolis area. Our Bloomington trip planner makes visiting Mall of America and other Bloomington attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

There's nothing like taking an adult field trip to the mall. Good food & good times with friends! It's a must see when you visit MN.

This place is pretty incredible. We are not from the area but have come to visit a couple of times and there’s always something to do for everyone. Nickelodeon Universe can be fun for the whole family. If you have multiple days you will be here, that is pretty much a whole day. We went on a Monday and lines were short until about 11:30 and then the crowds picked up. There are plenty of store options and food options here. Definitely recommend as there is something for everyone.

It was a bucket list item to come here. I don't like to shop but there was plenty else to do. I really loved all of the various culinary options available. The mall was pretty clean. Bathrooms readily available though the signs could be better. There weren't any raucous youths running about while we were there. The amusement park looked cool. Attached hotels are also very convenient. If you don't shop/ride rollercoasters you could just come here to eat or people watch like we did.
