It was not open when we visited but I was able to read the sign about Cyrus Garvin and his life. It was very interesting. I also could look in the window of the two room house.

Closed so you couldn't go inside but you could peak inside and read the interpretive panels and of course you could read the interpretive panels that are on the outside. This little house with it's great history was a total surprise. So glad we stopped at the park for a picnic lunch and spent a little time walking around the building and thinking about the people who lived there and the lives that they lived.

Very peaceful setting perserving a nice bit of history for the area. The house has a beautiful view of the river.
