  • Especially if is a windy day this is the place to take a nice relaxing walk- you can leave your room at the Lodge and walk a short distance down the hill to take this walk  more »
  • We visited this place on a cloudy afternoon. The waves, the breeze, the wind, the sight of the great Egrets hunting crabs in the foggy distance make the scene like it is in a movie. We met an elderly woman and her husband whom are so kind. We talked about the birds, the ice plants, and the weather. I was so surprised and moved when she said she wish she can share her jacket with me. We look forward to the cranes but couldn't find any. We will try again in winter.
  • Beautiful 3/4 mile circular, easy walk. Not many birds in sight when I visited (only a lone turkey vulture), but I imagine this changes daily.
