  • We found this hidden gem when we discovered the parking lot for the Appalachian Trail was more crowded then a U2 concert in 06 (great show, btw)! First I must say, the lake at Greenbrier was a site...

  • A beautiful man made beach and park. The beach water is clear, good for fishing, camping, birthdays and family gathering. It has a small trail and beautiful. Weekdays is less people and more quiet time enjoying the park if you want to be alone. It has a good parking lot nearby and restroom. They have a small store for camping, food and stuff but it was closed when we visit there, maybe it will open in summer.
  • Gem of a clean campground, level gravel pads for our little trailer. Nicely wooded campground makes a perfect place to bird watch. Enjoyed riding our dual sport bike to tour Antietam and Harper’s Ferry. Saw a black squirrel, we don’t have at home. Bald Eagle, Pileated woodpeckers and eastern bluebirds!!! Eastern Phoebe nesting in eaves of bathhouse, fun to watch. Super hosts in Ash loop.
