Restoration of all the buildings, except the lighthouse, was completed in 2003. The buildings serve as a living history museum where interpreters in period clothing portray a lighthouse family who called Burnt Island home from 1936 to 1951. Tours leave from Pier 8 in Boothbay Harbor on Mon. & Thurs. from July 7 to Sept.1 at 1:45. Call 207 633 2284.
