DiamondJacks Casino, Bossier City

On arrival everything was fine, we self parked and parking was easy and available. At check in the staff made several uncomfortable jokes. Including an "uh oh your card was declined" joke. I believe they were attempting to be friendly but it just came off as unprofessional. There were more than a couple times we attempted to ask the front desk a question during our stay and no one was present. The room left something to be desired. There was trash left behind by the previous occupants, and we were surprised to find it lacked a mini fridge. Wallpaper was peeling off of the wall. When room service came to clean the room while we were out during the day, they would leave beds unmade and dirty towels on the floor. A couple days into our visit we went to check out the pool and gym. They gym was well equipped, but the pool was "closed for the season". A bit odd seeing as it was spring break. The casino play was pleasant. During peak playing times like the weekend, the casino staff are fairly friendly.

Decent accommodation but level of customer service was disappointing. A friend tripped and hit her head on the nightstand and cut her eye. The front desk was called and they said there was no first-aid kit. Well more accurately it wasn't stocked, we were told there were Band-Aids in the vending machines. Totally disappointed. They said they would note that we told them there was blood on the carpet.
