Museum of Science Reviews
We had a great time at the museum of science with our 8 year old. It was perfect for her age. We watched an imax movie about volcanoes that was really cool and we loved the butterfly exhibit. My only ... more »

This place is awesome with constantly rotating exhibits. It is fun and educational for kids from 2-99 years old. Just took my two year old for the first time and he loved it. If you are going to go multiple times in a year it may be worth getting a membership. Also, many libraries in Massachusetts offer passes for up to 4 people where tickets are only ten dollars. Check with your local library.
My 4 year old and 2 year old have a blast at the Boston Science Museum. There is more to do than you can cover in one day so there is always something new to explore. It's fun for all ages, including us adults. My son's favorite was the life size working toilet which was cut in half that shows how things flush. The butterfly room, live animal shows, and dinosaurs were a big hit. He also loved the space capsule which he could climb into. My daughter loves pretty much everything. For those that don't bring their own food, the cafeteria has a great selection. There is a salad bar with fresh fruit and salad options. There are also several stations with sandwiches, burgers, and pasta. The prices are reasonable and our party with 4 adults and two children ate well for approximately $50.
