The belfry of Old North Church & Historic Site is where Paul Revere got his signal for the midnight ride. It is the oldest church still standing in the city and is classified as a National Historic Landmark. The whitewashed interior reflects light from the many clear windows. The layout of the building was inspired by British architect Christopher Wren, the man responsible for rebuilding London after the great fire. Consider taking a behind-the-scenes tour with the church staff through the crypt below. Inquire about tours at the church. • We did the Crypt Tour in addition to the regular tour. The crypt part was interesting and was something I had never heard about. The tour of the church was self guided, but there were guides...

  • This was a great stop. I think I was more excited then the kids. Just seeing the church, walking through it and seeing all the pictures and history inside was awesome. The best part was the crypto tour. Going under the church and seeing all the crypts, walls floors and structure was really cool. The history here is unbelievable. Worth the $ for the tour's.
  • Amazing place in America history. Inexpensive ticket prices to get in, and it's well worth your time. One of the best features about this church is the original state of so much of it. You can feel the history in these walls. Beautiful Organ and pews, a must visit destination for any tourist.
