The birthplace of a patriotic brew, Samuel Adams Brewery is a Boston landmark. The brews available change according to the season, but they often include a selection of lagers, pilsners, stouts, and porters. Consider taking one of the daily tours, but be aware that only some of them have a theme or include complimentary tasting. Times and dates for specialty tours, as well as available brews, are listed on the attraction's website. You can make a tour reservation online, but drop-ins are also allowed--so if your reservation isn't accepted online, simply show up and join a group. Fun tour. It's nice that they except charitable donations as admission. Wish the groups were a little smaller. You won't see any bottling here unfortunately. The souvenir glass is a nice bonus. Plus, there's nothing like a fresh, cold beer!
Great tour given by Chris. It was about 45 minutes long and highly informative. Chris had a wonderful attitude which complimented the situation. Free samples of course was another highlight. Definitely a must do if you're in town.
