Favored by both locals and visitors, Boston's Waterfront neighborhood is dotted with shops, street vendors, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Stroll along Boston Harborwalk's piers to enjoy the sea breeze and watch ships heading in and out of the harbor. Take a boat tour around the harbor (whale-watching tours are available, too), admire the views, and learn about Boston's maritime history. The airport is on across the harbor, making this a perfect place for plane spotting. Windy days on the waterfront can be chilly, so bring a sweater. Put Waterfront on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Boston route maker.
