  • Excellent little hideaway for a winter getaway! We stayed there three nights and had a blast. The cabin was nice and cozy, had everything we needed, and stayed warm even when it was -30 outside...

  • I stayed 3 nights and 4 days at the Blue Huron yurt in the middle of March... what a dreamy place!! Since it was winter, it was very quiet and few people (exactly what my soul needed). The weather was just right to take in several miles on cross country ski. The trails were well groomed and maintained by the park and another local agency. The trails heads were well marked well, but were difficult to figure out which direction to go at intersections... there is just a map saying "you are here" with no indicators of which trail leads where. I ended up zooming in on Google Maps to see where I was at and which way to go. Nevertheless, the sunny winter weather made for a wonderful time traversing the woodlands via skis. 10/10 would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a solo winter escape.
  • Beautiful park. I hiked the Eastern trails and managed 8 miles. Trails are well maintained, although not labeled quite the best. I will definitely be coming back to camp or stay in one of the cabins.
