Hemenway Park, Boulder City

A popular park for locals and tourists alike. Hemenway Valley isn't much more than your average park in any City across America. Picnic tables and park benches are spread about the green grass. Tennis courts, a baseball field and a playground are also located here. The big attraction though, are the desert bighorn sheep that frequent here in the evenings. During the spring and summer months you will find the herd from the nearby mountains relaxing under the trees. A truly unique opportunity to see these wild animals up close.

I'm not sure how many stars to give here. I'm a little bit confused... There is a big play area for the kids to play around big horn goats? I took my 2 year old to play but it felt little intimidating. On the other side it was great to see so many big horn goats around. The view of the lake is amazing. Such a beautiful park!
