  • Awesome place, helpful and great staff
  • (Mostly) good and (mostly) really fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit as well as home-made spice jellies, apple butter also eggs and mountain honey...who can resist? The prices are high, some extremely so, but it is so lovely to get out on Valmont to 75th, the cute farmstand opposite to Munson's has its charm and the people are dedicated. Sometimes I am lucky: small round plums, the best peaches or rhubarb a bit out of season...those are real finds. But the prices...given the fact that one has to go out of one's way to get there and that much of the produce is double the price I pay at a good store, I feel they should be a bit less "exclusive". Come on, a jar of honey for$18?...Yet I keep coming back when the suns shines and I get drawn in by the charm of rural ambience, great selections and a bunch of rubber-booted young people with the ecology spark in their eyes...
