  • The drive up is easy and enjoyable. There are bathrooms at the top and plenty of trails. We were feeling “lazy” on the day we went and didn’t have to exert ourselves past our desired limit. There is a nature center which has some pretty nice project, preserved animals, the amphitheater is historic and has a great view. Overall a great experience for families with children of any age and people without children.
  • Easy drive to a great vantage point to see Boulder (although unobtrusive views are a little harder to find due to trees) many trails and pull off points to stop. Keep going to eventually get to the Gross Reservoir (although it’s pretty low due to expansion?) Equally great at night to see the lights of Boulder.
