  • A beautiful hiking area not far from Bozeman. Very lush forest. A "must hike" for those who want hikes that aren't too long. Approximately 2.5 miles total.
  • Grotto Falls and Palisades Falls is best done together. Both trails are easy, well maintained, and not too long. Palisades is well marked, Grotto Falls ( Hyalite Creek ) trailhead is down the right fork of the Hyalite Canyon road near the Chisholm campground.
