Montana Grizzly Encounter, Bozeman

Watching Max was fun, and listening to the guide (who said he is relatively new, but did a GREAT job) was super informative. I came away feeling attached to Max and also better aware of what to do if I were to encounter a bear in the wild (hope that never happens). The location was gorgeous. The gift shop and admissions folks were very welcoming and kind. The ticket receipt serves as a pass that allows you to return two days in a row. Unique and positive experience. My kids loved it.

Woah! If you ever wondered what a grizzly looked like compared to a black bear, well … this is a great place to go see one up close! I love that this place also has a really nice instructor that teaches you everything you want to know about and how to identify and avoid these beautiful powerful creatures in the wild. Would definitely recommend to check out this place. The bears are always active and close up. They also had a few cute goats as well!
