Fort Clark Springs is a 2700 acre gated resort bordering US Highway 90 in Brackettville, Texas.   • We spent a couple of hours driving around and looking at the buildings and the spring fed swimming pool. The sad thing is that a few of the old buildings are crumbling, but most are intact and being.....  more »
  • No tee time for golf needed! Hugh axes deer population! Gated community! Natural swim park (Spring-fed) large RV park! Max sunshine! Cheap living!  more »

  • High ceilings, even on the bottom floor made the standard rooms somewhat unusual. Everything was clean, functional and the heavy wood Texas style of furniture got the job done. I was skeptical of the air conditioner, but it worked beautifully. The front desk was helpful, but the rate for the room was a tad high, but there's the spring and all the other amenities, so overall it was a good value.
  • Nice far away and secluded out of town trip! Kids loved the swimming pool! Very Historic post that a History buff will love. General Patton was stationed there and the officer quarters are now hotels.
