  • We had a great time. Everyone was super nice. Our six year had a blast renting one of their RV’s. It was super nice. Our only complaint was that it needs a deep clean. It was way to dusty beyond the.....  more »
  • Lovely campground attached to the Hunsader farm, well maintained and friendly staff. Didn’t pick strawberries, so not reviewing that. Saw lots of people in the field, tho, so obviously it’s popular...  more »
  • A fun place for the kids. Large farm with so many cute buildings. $5 petting zoo has lots of cute animals and a playground. Fields are large and have lots of produce. Visited in December and they have plenty of strawberries. Kids are having so much fun and plenty to do. Ice cream is available and a small cafe.
  • It has been a year since our wedding last May, but apparently I didn’t leave a review like I thought I did (at least not here I guess). Where should I start?! We go to Hunsader pumpkin festival almost every year so when we heard via Facebook that they did weddings we knew we wanted to make it happen! We had been engaged for so long and never really put anything into place or set a date, that is until we had our first tour. We did our tour in January and ended up picking memorial weekend that May. So basically 5 months to pull it off. Rachel was so helpful throughout the whole process and always answered any calls/texts or questions we had. The whole family was very accommodating! We all know weddings aren’t cheap and planning can be very stressful. They allowed us plenty of time for set up and use of their grounds. Unfortunately it being May our plans had to change last minute due to rain. So we didn’t get to use as much of the grounds as we had liked for photos. As for the saloon (barn area) we had no issues with having access to it even on random drop ins throughout the months of planning. In fact the ground had changed so much from our first tour to our random tours throughout the 5 months. There were no issues keeping our guests cool at all. They even went as far as setting up little wooden pathways to keep myself and the groom from getting too muddy. Rachel went above and beyond and set up an area for the groom and his guys to get ready when their place to get ready cancelled last minute. For some of our guests and family that were coming from out of town they opened up their cabins which aren’t even fully done yet, but we’re kind enough to help us out an allow us to stay on site. We enjoyed the pop-ins from Rachel and Blake throughout the wedding as they made sure everything was going how we wanted it to. Our wedding wasn’t over the top or super fancy, it was very diy, but it worked for us. Keep in mind this is a working farm that holds two very big events during the year so if your date is unavailable don’t freak out! Unlike the vendors we did have to work with that were very unpleasant, the Hunsader family was A++! We have recommended their venue to many people and have even had some friends get married there after us.
